Wouldn't you love a process for getting what you want organically and easily?
The process I'm about to show you does just that in ways that are surprising and such a relief to the part of you that believes you have to suffer to get what you want. No pain, no gain right?
As you read this, I am sitting in a ballroom at the Deepak Chopra Center learning about creating what you want with ease. I can't wait to come back and share what I learn with you and my beloved clients.
In the meantime, I want to share a delightful, real-life example so you can start to apply this process in your own life - a new job, a partner, a promotion. You name it, and you can get it.
Here's the example:
My friend, Anne, lost her beloved Pomeranian in the spring. (This is not the delightful part.) When Rafa died, Anne's husband pronounced, "no more dogs."
So, Anne found herself with a strong desire for another Pomeranian and a significant roadblock to getting one. What's a girl to do?
Call her coach friend, Christina, and start to apply Chopra's process.
Step 1: Allow yourself to want. Desire is a good thing as it signals to the universe that it's time to cooperate.
Anne had the desire thing handled. Move to step 2.
Step 2: Put your attention on what you desire. This is a simple principle: What you focus on grows. If you focus on fear, worry and impossibility, you will get fear, worry and impossibility. If you focus instead on your desire for a Pomeranian, you never know what will happen.
Step 3: Set your intention. This is the action part. Set your intention on what you want and start moving. You may network, send feelers out to get on the team for that cool international IT initiative, or look at Pomeranians on Petfinder and maybe apply for a few even though said husband still says, "no dog."
The power of the universe cannot be denied.
Step 4: Let go. This is the hardest step. I mean truly the hardest. You're out there, taking all the action, feeling all the desire, and the fact of the matter is, you are not in control of the outcome. Things will happen, you will stumble, you will hear, "sorry, that dog is already taken," and "honey, I'm serious about not wanting another dog."
Suffering happens when you cling tightly to a specific result. The outcome of your desire, attention and intention will likely be something you couldn't imagine and don't expect. Which brings me to Step 5.
Step 5: Pay attention to coincidences and synchronicity. When you open your field of vision to infinite possibilities and outcomes, the universe will deliver weird coincidences - those moments when you're, like, "that opportunity/phone call/perfect person/dog came out of nowhere!" Those coincidences are full of opportunities. Be alert. Pay attention so you don't miss them.
For Anne, the coincidence came as a phone call from a dog rescue that needed to find a foster home right away for a small dog. Because it was only a foster situation, her husband agreed and within a day of the call, Fergus entered their lives. Within a week, Fergus had stolen everyone's hearts and became a permanent resident on Anne's lap. (See birthday photo above as evidence.)
Anne's family had never fostered a dog. Fergus is not a Pomeranian. When Anne let go of the specific dog she had in mind, the universe delivered the dog she was meant to have. (And found a way to do it so her husband would get on board.) The entire process unfolded organically and without struggle.
And Fergus is darn cute.
I'd love to hear where you will apply this process in your own life or perhaps where you have already seen it work for you. Hit reply to this email and tell me all about it. Or even better, pop over to Corporate Rebel HQ in Facebook and tell your rebel community.
P.S. My dear friend and colleague, Sandra Possing, (remember her from our summer camp FB Live sessions earlier this summer?) is launching a six week coaching program with an epic name and an even more epic purpose. Unleashed. She will help you let go of what is holding you back. If you're curious to know more, check out her program here: https://goo.gl/F2R4hb
