Tim Nighswander and I have known each other a long time. In fact, I still have the giant stuffed Snoopy he gave me when I was still in a bouncy chair. Tim is my Uncle Tim, and he’s an exceptional photographer with an amazing career that (no matter what your industry) will show you the power of perseverance.
Tim was working as a photojournalist during the Kent State shootings, and the photographs he took of that terrible event were the first step in a career filled with ups, downs and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
The reason he’s on the Corporate Rebel Unplugged Video Podcast is that he stuck to his creativity and art through everything – divorce, business dissolutions, working retail, and ingeniously retooling his skills to go digital. Tim’s perseverance, talent, gritty creativity, and he says, “luck” landed him in a niche that marries everything he loves in the world, supports his family financially, and has created moments so sublime they will take your breath away.
People say to him all the time, “I don’t know how you do it.” In this conversation, Tim will tell you exactly how he does it.
